Terms of Service

PuranPay is software that verifies personal Send Money to your own bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or Upay number. The customer pays the wallet operator. We match the official SMS on a phone you pair, then notify your website with a signed webhook. We do not receive, hold, or settle customer funds, and we do not take a percentage of sales. You pay a flat subscription for verification, webhooks, and the dashboard.

PuranPay is independent software. We are not bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, or any bank. We do not issue merchant accounts with those operators. Using personal Send Money is your choice and must comply with each operator’s rules and Bangladesh law. Brand names appear only to describe payment methods customers already use.

You must provide an accurate email and keep your password and API keys secret. Wallet numbers are assigned by PuranPay admin for your account; do not share live secret keys (sk_live_) in client-side code or public repos. You are responsible for activity under your keys, webhook secret, and paired devices.

Live matching needs a paired Android app that can read official wallet SMS. You must only pair a device you control, keep it online when you accept live payments, and not interfere with matching (for example by forwarding fake SMS). Sandbox / test keys exist so you can try the flow without a live SMS match.

A payment is VERIFIED when the TrxID, amount, method, and destination number match an official wallet SMS we receive from your paired device within the checking window. Fake TrxIDs and screenshots do not verify. Verification does not mean the sender is who they claim, that goods were delivered, or that the operator will reverse the transfer. You decide when to fulfill. Do not treat the browser return or thank-you page as paid if the webhook has not confirmed — especially on WooCommerce, where the plugin is designed to fulfill from the signed webhook.

• Show customers a truthful amount and the correct Send Money number on checkout.
• Fulfill only after payment.verified (or an equivalent authenticated retrieve) — not merely because the customer closed the pay page.
• Handle refunds and disputes yourself. PuranPay does not move money and does not currently expose a refund API; refund from your wallet according to the operator’s tools.
• Keep shop domains, webhook URLs (HTTPS), and test vs live keys aligned so orders are not marked paid on the wrong environment.
• Comply with tax, consumer, and MFS rules that apply to your shop.

Pricing is the plan you select on the site (monthly or yearly). Customer Send Money goes entirely to your wallet; the subscription is for the software. Unpaid or expired plans may pause live verification. Fees already paid for a billing period are generally not refundable except where we cancel the service or Bangladesh law requires it. We may change published plans with notice on the pricing page; the change applies from the next renewal unless we say otherwise.

You must verify x-puranpay-signature (HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body) before fulfilling. You may use official plugins (including WooCommerce) and the Node SDK. You must not scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, bypass rate limits, or use another merchant’s keys. We may throttle or disable keys that threaten the platform.

You may not use PuranPay for unlawful goods, fraud, money laundering, or to deceive customers about who receives the money. You may not submit invented TrxIDs to harass the matcher, probe other merchants’ payments, or interfere with SMS on a device you do not own.

We aim to keep checkout, matching, and webhooks running, but the service depends on your phone, mobile networks, wallet SMS, and the internet. Downtime, delayed SMS, or operator outages can delay or prevent a match. We are not liable for missed sales during those events. Sandbox payments never move real money.

PuranPay’s site, dashboard, docs, and trademarks remain ours. You keep rights to your shop content, logos, and order data. You grant us a licence to host that content only to provide checkout and the dashboard.

The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by Bangladesh law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost orders, chargebacks at the wallet, or indirect damages. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example fraud).

You will defend and indemnify PuranPay against claims arising from your shop, your customers, your use of personal wallets, or your failure to verify webhooks before fulfilling.

You may stop using the service and ask us to close the account. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these terms, do not pay, or put payers or the platform at risk. After closure, live keys stop working; we may retain payment logs as described in the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Courts in Dhaka have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere to protect the service.
